Help grow Tempe's urban forest

Individuals, families, groups and organizations are invited to support the City of Tempe’s urban forest by donating a live tree.

Through the Living Tree Donation Program, a 24” box tree will be planted in one of the City of Tempe’s 48 neighborhood parks. Donors are welcome to select the park*.
*Parks under renovation may not be available.

To commemorate the donation, donors will be asked to provide a personalized inscription for a brass leaf to be placed on one of our three donor recognition trees:
Parks & Recreation, 3500 S. Rural Rd., Suite 201
Escalante Community Center, 2150 E. Orange St.
Westside Community Center, 715 W. 5th St.

After the payment has been processed, the city’s urban forester will contact you regarding the installation. Trees are planted in the cooler months of October - March to help ensure that they are not adversely affected by the summer heat.
